    Thomas McNeill

    Club Manager


    Thomas joined the club nearly 12 years ago in October 2005 starting his career as a lifestyle consultant. With a vast amount of knowledge and skill, Thomas has rightfully earned his new position working his way up through the club taking on roles as a Personal Trainer, Assistant Manager and now Club Manager.

    With a passion for running marathons, playing football and Gaelic football, these combined skills and life experiences gave Thomas the perfect basis for a successful career in the fitness industry.

    Robert McCarroll

    Assistant Manager


    Robert joined the club in January 2016 and through hard work and dedication has since been promoted to Assistant Club Manager. With over 11 years in the fitness industry, he specialises in Strength and Conditioning and Personal Training and has worked with many successful athletes.

    A keen sportsman, Robert played for Ulster Rugby at youth level and competed in Olympic Weightlifting. Robert has also made regular appearances on the hit show Game of Thrones where he is a member of the Night’s Watch, along with making the semi-Finals of Ninja Warrior UK!  Feel free to contact Robert regarding any queries that you may have.

    Lorna Shortt

    Personal Trainer

    Lorna moved to Australia after a serious illness to reflect on her life and goals. There she found her passion, bodyweight training. Since returning to Belfast, she qualified in fitness instructing and as a Metafit coach (high intensive interval training).

    Lorna is currently studying to achieve her Personal Training certificate and exercise referral which will give her more knowledge of exercise whilst having a medical condition. Lorna believes in promoting a happy, healthy mind through exercise and nutrition in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Feel free to have a chat to discuss your individual requirements.

    Hannah Cree

    Personal Trainer

    At 23, Hannah is one of the youngest members of the team. She is a Level 3 Personal Trainer and is currently studying GP Exercise Referral and Strength & Conditioning. Hannah has successfully overcome her own personal battle with weight loss, dropping over 7 stone.

    John Watt

    Qualified Fitness Instructor


    John has over 8 years’ experience in the fitness industry and has been with Club Vitae since January 2016. Coming from a martial arts background in Karate, Teakwondo, boxing and Judo, John has qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer, Training for Warriors instructor and much more.

    Personal Trainer


    Chris has been with the club for over 8 years now and is a Level 3 fitness professional. Chris trains on a regular basis and likes to try new training systems in the gym before he incorporates them into his client’s sessions.

    With many successful Personal Training client stories behind him, Chris is the guy to see if you’re looking to change your lifestyle for the better and get started on your fitness journey!

    Timmy Burns

    Personal Trainer


    A keen A2, and hopefully soon A1 Amateur cyclist, Timmy’s passion for fitness has evolved in his 10 years with the club from strength training to middle distance running to triathlons and now competitive cycling.

    After recently completing a degree in Sports Coaching, he can provide the expertise and knowledge to take your training to the next level and beyond.

    Deborah McNally



    Deborah has a wealth of knowledge within the hotel sector and has worked here for over 8 years.  Deborah comes from a hospitality background and will always have a smiling face to greet you as you come in to the club. She loves meeting and interacting with all our members and enjoys training and attending classes in her spare time.

Pool, gym and studio are cleared 30 minutes before we close.
