    Leisure Centre Manager

    Sophie is our only Female Instructor at Club Vitae. Sophie joined the team in June 2015 and she hasn’t looked back since. Sophie has vast experience in policies and procedures which she gain during her time with Lifestyle Sports and has brought that experience with her to Club Vitae. Sophie is great with motivating our gym members and pushing them to their maximum.

  • Ian Doyle

    Fitness instructor

    Hello my name is Ian Doyle I am 21 years old and I live in Kingswood here in Tallaght and I started working here in March 2017. All my life I have been dedicated to sport and fitness as my hobbies include Football, Basketball, Gym and Martial Arts. My main passion in fitness is strength and conditioning for sports. I  have done a 2 Year fitness course down in Inchicore College and am currently back in college studying Sports Management and Coaching over in Blanch IT. Long Term I plan on setting up my own strength and conditioning business for both self-improvement and team improvement.

    My Experience: I have been coaching since the age of 16 in both football and Karate as I am a black belt in karate and have my FAI coaching badges in football. I have also been Gym active since the age of 15 so please do not hesitate to ask me any questions. I do strength and conditioning training down in Templeogue united fc.

    I am a Fitness Instructor & Personal Trainer here at Club Vitae Tallaght. I have studied fitness with Image Fitness Training, I have alsodone another course in Crumlin College which was Exercise, Fitness & Nutrition Year 2. My favourite sport is football, I currently play for St Francis F.C. but had previously played for Shamrock Rovers F.C. from schoolboy level all the way to reserve level where I have won numerous trophies and personal awards too. I found fitness when I got a really bad knee injury while playing for Shamrock Rovers. I had to get a minor surgery on it as I tore ligaments. As part of my recovery I had to train in a gym as part of my rehabilitation so I taught if this instructor can change people’s lives why can’t I.

    My Experience:
    I have worked in the fitness industry over 3 years now, I have been working as a personal trainer for over 2 years now and have built up a good client base. I have worked in Fit4less Tallaght prior to Club Vitae Tallaght where I taught many classes ranging from ab to 6 week transformation classes. If anybody would like some nutritional advice or general advice about your training, new exercises, etc., do not hesitate to ask as I will always be on hand to help you. I have great aspirations for the future, and I am continually striving to expand my knowledge of exercise, health and fitness for the benefit of both myself and my clients to lead the way in personal training & gym instructing. Personal Training is my passion, a passion to help people live better lives.     My name is Alex Clarke I am a fitness instructor here at Club Vitae. I have over 7 years’ experience in the fitness industry teaching many various fitness classes from less Kettlebells to Les Mill’s programs.
    In my free time I take part in many different sport from rugby to surfing and anything in between that is a new challenge. Over the last few years I have trained many different types of people from elite athletes and people in need of specific rehabilitation to anyone who just wants to drop a few pounds.
    So no matter what your goal or time frame don’t hesitate to ask me if you need any advice or direction.

I have been asked some of the strangest questions in my time as trainer but would never call any of them stupid so please don’t be afraid to ask anything.
