30 Minute class. Circuit training is a fast-paced class in which you do one exercise for 30 seconds to 1 minute and then move on to another exercise. When the instructor tells you everyone moves to the next free station. Classes alternate an aerobic activity such as jumping jacks with a muscle-strengthening activity such as a squat. This is a total body workout.
Circuits/TRX (college of commerce):
60 minutes long. This class is reserved for college of commerce students only. This is a mixture of our circuit training class and suspension training class. Refer to these class descriptions for details.
30 to 45 minutes long. Is challenging, fun, and one of the best ways to improve cardiovascular fitness while burning lots of calories. This class is based on indoor spin bikes. Classes are designed to run to different music BPM for septic training zones.
Becky’s body tone:
60 minutes long. This for anyone looking to get lean, strong and toned. It is a strength and conditioning class for both males and females new to exercise or experienced. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, this toning class gives you a total body workout. You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.
Kettlebells & barbells:
30 minutes long. Kettlebells workouts engage hundreds of muscles at once resulting in a calorie-burning cardio workout that builds lean muscle while strengthening your core. Most exercises involve swinging a kettlebell (round cast-iron weights with handles) to work the upper body and core while doing lower-body moves like lunges and squats. If you want a full-body workout without spending a lot of time, this is perfect.
Cardio Boxing (college of commerce):
60 minutes long. An authentic fitness training workout based on boxing movements with our in-house boxing expert. No boxing experience required.
30 to 45 minutes long. HIT (High Intensity Training) Bootcamp is a mega body blast and there are options for all levels of fitness. This Bootcamp style of training will give you alternative ways to boost cardio and strength gains. No need to be co-ordinated just a desire to have a unique and extreme workout.
45 Minutes long. Develop core strength with boxing techniques and drills; an all over cardio and strength training workout, it helps improve endurance, co-ordination and stamina. Allowing you to develop superior upper body strength, core strength, quickness and agility, cardiovascular fitness and improved posture all at the same time, boxing classes is great for all ages and fitness levels. Boxing is also great for stress relief. You’ll also get an intense workout while improving your core strength at the same time.
15-15-15 Spin, H.I.I.T, Abs:
45 Minutes long. Combination of spin, H.I.I,T and core work. This is split between 15 minutes on each aspect. Description on the other elements above.
30 minutes long. A series of exercises, designed to lengthen, strengthen and condition your core muscles. Deep core conditioning, simple, yet effective.
45 Minutes long. This class id for people off all ages and abilities. Just like an aerobics class, but with the support of the water very low impact and great fun, a great way to burn fat, lose weight, keep fit and tone up. Fun music playing through out on the pool deck.
